Long before coaching became my work, I was the friend people came to with the big questions. I've always loved talking with friends, listening to them, and helping them figure out how to become better versions of themselves. My dad saw that in me. He encouraged me to study counselling and coaching, and he pushed me to do it professionally.
I grew up between Cairo and California, and I've always been drawn to seeing the world through other people's eyes. I've travelled to 33 countries, some of them solo, and joined mission work in 10 countries across Africa and Asia, serving under-resourced communities. Those experiences have shaped who I am and how I coach.
In 2016, I became an iPEC-certified coach. Alongside coaching, I built a 12-year career in consulting and non-profit organisations, helping create programmes and systems that improve the lives of people experiencing homelessness, many of whom also face mental health and substance use challenges.
Through all of it, I kept coaching, and today coaching has my full focus.

My approach
I start with who you are before what you do next. Through my Core Identity Model, we build your personal vision and mission statement together, and it becomes the foundation for the decisions that follow.
The way I see it, counselling focuses on the past, while coaching focuses on the future. Sometimes we look back to understand certain thought patterns and behaviours, so that we can set a clear plan to move forward. Throughout, I draw on CBT and DBT techniques to help you manage life's stresses, stay grounded and build a stronger sense of purpose.
